Are you spending these cold, blustery days longingly looking out the window wishing   May would arrive as the winter blues try to worm their way into your life?

Well give your bad mood a rest because we have
just the thing to blast through winter: 
Downtown Dodgeball, anyone?

Here's what you need to know to get your ducks
(or dodgeballs) in a row:

• The league begins Thursday, February 10 at 6 p.m.

• The team entry fee is $235.

• The league runs six weeks, from February 10 - March 17; a second session will be held March 24 - April 28 based on sufficient interest.

• Teams must be a minimum of six people.

• League play will take place at the YMCA.  Parking is a breeze and will only cost you a buck.  Just pull into the Marconi garage at the corner of Spring and Marconi (enter on Ludlow) any time after 3 p.m.  Then bring your parking stub to the YMCA; they will validate your stub and it will only cost you $1.

• The deadline for entry is Thursday, February 3.

• The League is sponsored by the Downtown YMCA and Capital Crossroads SID 

Whether you have a team of underdogs or you are mighty warriors, come out and join in the fun for the six-week league.  It will get your blood pumping and help you blast through winter with a breeze.  Besides, what else would you be doing during the dreary days of winter except munching on too many Cheetos and sitting in front of the boob tube for weeks on end, swilling gallons of sugary soda while your sweats get tighter and tighter.  Plus the team that comes out victorious at the end of the season will recieve t-shirts and bragging rights, so sign up now!  Check out a complete list of rules here.

Fill out the registration form (download it here) and send it with your check for $235 made payable to Downtown YMCA.  Mail it to the attention of Lisa Cline, Program Director, Downtown YMCA at 40 West Long Street, Columbus, OH 43215.
