~~~~~~~~Red CrossInterested in Getting CPR & First Aid certified?
Do you love a free lunch?
Now get both, while hanging out with Friends!
Now is your chance with Friends - at a Friends discounted rate! Join us Saturday, March 29, 2008 for a special CPR and First Aid training with fellow Friends. Included in the CPR course is a special training on how to use Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs). Research demonstrates more then ever that AEDs need to be used in conjunction with CPR to achieve the best outcome for a victim suffering from cardiac arrest. For every one minute that an AED is delayed it reduces the chance of survival by 10%.
In addition to learning vital life-saving skills, receiving the CPR and First Aid training will broaden your options for many other volunteer opportunities with the Red Cross, both inside and outside of Friends, with the new skills and certification you will earn.
Thanks to generous support from our host, Huntington National Bank, snacks and lunch will be provided to attendees.
