Capital Crossroads Special Improvement District has announced enhanced efforts to boost recycling in downtown Columbus.  With support of the Ohio Department of Natural Resources and the Solid Waste Authority of Central Ohio, CCSID has launched a new website and other educational tools designed to grow recycling and waste reduction downtown.  Thedowntowncolumbus.com/
recycling site is planned to help offices commit to recycling, whether they are new to it or have a program in place.

It's the New Year and we know many of you have resolved to get into shape in 2011.  It's an admirable goal and this week's Downtown Deal can help you out.  The YMCA, located at 40 West Long Street, is offering Right Now Downtownsubscribers a no cost two-week fitness membership.  It's a great way to launch your fitness regimen for the New Year.

The Y is a fun and convenient place to work out.  You can swim; hit some great fitness classes - spinning, Pilates, and more; jog on the indoor track; use the cardiovascular and weight training equipment; or play some basketball, racquetball or volleyball.  And while it's possible you might strain a muscle or two, you can wind down in the the steam room, the sauna or whirlpool to ease your training aches and pains.

And once you're in the groove, if you choose to become a member of the YMCA downtown Right Now Downtown subscribers will enjoy six no cost personal training sessions.  Kick up your heels as you kick off the New Year.
