The Development Committee works to develop partnerships with local businesses and organizations. Whether you have the time to join the committee, or simply have a couple of contacts you can help us reach out to, we welcome your support. Young Survival Coalition's In Living Pink Fundraising Gala

Every year in the United States, 11,000 women under age 40 are diagnosed with breast cancer. These women are typically diagnosed at later stages, have higher mortality rates, and face different challenges than their older counterparts.

The Young Survival Coalition (YSC) is the only organization that focuses exclusively on young women with breast cancer. The YSC offers resources, connections and outreach to support, empower, and give hope to the women it serves.

In order to ensure its continued programming, the YSC will hold its annual In Living Pink fundraising event on November 19, 2010 at Brookshire. This event will raise money to support and increase awareness of the services offered by the local YSC chapter. With good food, entertainment and celebration, everyone can have a great evening while contributing to a noble cause.

As a powerful community fighting breast cancer in young women, the members of the YSC believe that no woman diagnosed under age 40 should be left to face breast cancer alone. Your involvement will help make that possible.
